Great co-parents, distant partners
You make a good team. You just don’t feel like a couple lately.
couples therapy · frisco, tx
In a town built around sports, a lot of couples end up running the household like a team: one drives, one packs snacks, nobody really talks.
Couples therapy online gives the two of you an hour to be partners again, without adding another drive across Frisco.
Busy seasons are hard on relationships. When every conversation is about the schedule, the connection gets quiet.
Online sessions mean you only need a quiet room and an hour, not a sitter and a commute. You can join together from home.
There’s no office in Frisco. Every session is online and secure, and you both just need to be in Texas.
You make a good team. You just don’t feel like a couple lately.
A move to Frisco shook up your routines and your relationship.
The topic changes. The argument doesn’t.
Something happened, and you both want to see if you can rebuild.
My couples work is informed by Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which is grounded in research on what helps relationships last. We focus on how you two talk to each other in conflict and how you repair afterward.
I won’t referee or pick a winner. I’ll help you both feel heard and spot the pattern you keep falling into together.
In couples counseling, much of the real work happens outside of our sessions. You’ll learn tools and techniques to strengthen your relationship, but lasting change comes from putting those skills into practice in your everyday lives. Our sessions will help you recognize patterns, improve communication, and learn healthier ways to navigate challenges. However, meaningful progress requires both partners to be willing to put in the effort, even when it feels difficult or uncomfortable. The more you practice what we discuss, the more opportunity you have to create lasting, positive changes in your relationship.
