Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026
This policy covers this website, nf-counseling.com. It does not cover counseling itself. Once you become a client, your health information is protected under my Notice of Privacy Practices, which you’ll receive through the SimplePractice client portal before your first session.
What this website collects
- If you use the contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional), whether you’re interested in individual or couples counseling, and the best time to reach you. There’s no message box on purpose. Please don’t send private or health details through the form.
- Visit statistics: I use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Plausible doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal information.
- Clicks: the site counts clicks on the phone number, email address, client portal link, and consult buttons, so I know what’s working.
- Spam protection: when you submit the form or click a tracked link, a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address is stored to block spam and abuse. Your actual IP address is not stored.
How I use it
To reply to you and set up your free 15-minute consult. That’s it. I don’t sell, rent, or share your information for marketing, and I don’t use it for advertising.
Who helps run the site
- Form submissions and click counts are stored in a secure database provided by Lovable Cloud (Supabase).
- Form submissions are emailed to me through Resend.
- Images load from Cloudinary and fonts load from Google Fonts. Like any website that uses them, those services can see your IP address when a page loads.
- Plausible Analytics counts visits without cookies.
How long I keep it
Inquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and for basic business records. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.
Your choices

Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
