virtual therapy for adults in Texas
I’m Natasha Francis, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I help adults recognize their patterns, understand where they come from, and stop repeating the ones that aren’t helpful.
real – calm – you
Real thoughts people have right before they reach out. If one of these is yours, you’re in the right place.

I don’t have time for this.
The sessions are fifty minutes weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed. You can work self care time into your schedule. After all, you can’t help anyone if you are not ok.
I want to start counseling, but it feels expensive and I don’t have insurance. What are my options?
My practice is self-pay and I do not accept insurance. Therapy is also an investment in your overall quality of life. Read my full answer
I want to try, but I do not think I will like virtual sessions.
I hear you, virtual can be off-putting for people. Let’s try it and see what you think. Read my full answer
I keep ending up in the same place.
That is a pattern; patterns are my specialty.
My loved one passed away and I am struggling.

I started college in 2005 as a counseling major, but my 18-year-old self was not ready to sit with people and really hear them. So I tried business (accounting: awful), then radio, television, and film, then a few entrepreneurial detours. None of it filled my cup.
Eight years after my undergrad, I went back for my master’s in counseling, this time with enough life behind me to not only hear people, but to truly understand them.
I’m eclectic on purpose. Person-centered when you need to be heard. CBT and REBT when we’re untangling a thought. Mindfulness when the body needs to catch up. I remember things, I’ll call you out on your patterns, and I’ll help you stay accountable to the person you’re trying to be.
Top four categories I work with, but you don’t have to fit neatly into a category to reach out! I have experience with a wide range of life challenges.

Same fight, different Tuesday? Gottman-informed work for couples who want to argue better and connect more — and who’d like to stop having the dishwasher conversation.

Grief is not linear. We will work to learn about the stages, help identify where you are, and work to help you heal at your own pace.

The 2 a.m. spiral, the what-ifs, the tight chest that shows up before the thought does. We find where it starts, what it’s protecting, and what to do with your hands in the meantime.

When “fine” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Practical tools, honest accountability, and a person who will notice when you say “fine” for the third week running.
Not everything comes with a tidy label
There are no mistakes. Just learning lessons.

No mystery, no waiting room. Here’s the whole thing, start to finish.
nobody gets thrown in the deep endNo essay required. Just enough for me to reach you.
Video or phone. You see my face, ask your questions, and decide whether we’d work well together.
50–55 minutes on SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Paperwork is done beforehand, so we just talk about what brought you here and what you want out of this.
Weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed — we work at your pace on the things you want to work on. Together, we’ll look at patterns, make connections, build insight, and figure out what needs to change or be processed further. Some sessions may be about processing the past, while others are focused on what’s happening right now. The goal is always the same: helping you understand yourself better, make intentional choices, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
