Co-managers, not partners
You run the household like a small business, and the romance got scheduled out.
couples therapy · allen, tx
Between two jobs, school schedules, and Friday nights in the stands, a lot of Allen couples only talk in logistics. Who’s picking up whom. What’s for dinner. When the game starts.
Couples therapy online gives you an hour to actually talk to each other, without driving anywhere.
Getting two people to the same office at the same time is the hardest part of couples therapy. Online sessions take that off the table. Take a long lunch or a work-from-home afternoon, log in together, and we get to work.
There’s no office in Allen, and no waiting room where you might run into someone from your kid’s team. Everything happens on secure video.
Sessions are Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Different topic, same argument, same ending.
No big blowups. Just more distance than you’d like.
Something broke trust, or a rough year wore you both down, and you want to repair it.
My couples work is informed by Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an approach grounded in research on what helps relationships last. We look at how you two talk to each other, especially in conflict, and practice ways to repair after a hard moment.
I’m not here to pick a side or decide who’s right. My job is to help you both feel heard and notice the patterns you fall into together.
In couples counseling, much of the real work happens outside of our sessions. You’ll learn tools and techniques to strengthen your relationship, but lasting change comes from putting those skills into practice in your everyday lives. Our sessions will help you recognize patterns, improve communication, and learn healthier ways to navigate challenges. However, meaningful progress requires both partners to be willing to put in the effort, even when it feels difficult or uncomfortable. The more you practice what we discuss, the more opportunity you have to create lasting, positive changes in your relationship.
